wind-speed. This Datalog view provides a minute control of the intensity of the heat per square metre, allowing monitoring from “afar”. The heat generated purely by solar energy in this small kiln in enough to heat 10 homes.

Video 2: “External On-Kiln Control Panel – 2 Generations ahead of existing Kiln Control systems”
The Control Panel is designed to maintain the heating efficiency and airflow to produce optimal results varied to allow for external weather conditions, which are monitored by the mini weather station.
The 3 plastic layer kiln design uses the cavities for heat control with the angulation and total surface area integrated with the blower systems to produce maximum efficiency.

Apart from the obvious cost savings in construction, this 50-60 cubic metre solar drying kiln, is low in maintenance costs, has portability, and offers savings between 100% to 70% of normal energy costs, depending on location. It can be located “on site” to avoid trucking costs also.
